Ever since I started horse riding at 3 years old I have never been able to stop. It has driven my passion and motivation throughout my life. Here in this post, I will look back on my past experiences as well as successes.

With the continuation of horse riding every week, I started to compete in dressage, showjumping, Cross Country and even gymkhana pony games. Of course due to constant nagging, at 8 years old my father bought me a small uncontrollable but loving pony Heidi. Here Heidi in her case I can say definitely was able to teach me to ride just about anything. Moving up in potential, lead me to higher competition with different horses in the traditional English style. However, one day came across western style riding.

From the first day, I fell in love with the style and began competing at rode at the western equestrian society national championship at 10 years old.

Due to this, I was able to keep training and keep moving up within the western riding competition circuit in England however as continued with the traditional English style of riding as well. During this time due to my accomplishments, I was able to secure a sports scholarship at Bournemouth Collegiate school sports academy. During my time at this school, I joined many of the school's teams some even competing at a national level including; netball, rounders (traditional British baseball), and field hockey; but most successfully within the school was rowing.

In continuation with my horse riding, I decided to follow a path to solely concentrate on western-style riding to become my main focus.

Thanks to my family’s support I was able to reach my goal of being one of the top youth riders in the United Kingdom by the age of 12. I continued to compete throughout the next few years gaining multiple national and international titles, trophies and plaques.

Here I worked alongside beginning as a client to world championship rider Tammy Greaves, as an assistant trainer and groom. Due to success during this time. I was offered a lead riding role on Team Great Britain Youth Team and travelled to Texas to compete at the youth world cup at 16 years old in 2014. In Texas, I was able to meet like minded people and create international connections.

Afterwards, though I had to be made a decision about my education and decided to retire part time while I completed my associate's degrees ( A-Levels ). Here I also worked some part time jobs that include office administrator, catering staff as well as a waitress. Still competing occasionally however I decided to retire at 18 years old as I was starting a new chapter in my life at university in London, Richmond the international University studying mass communication; media production. Here I was introduced to the opportunity to study abroad in South Korea.

After spending a year completing a study abroad in Busan, South Korea; I fell in love with the country and wanted to stay and further my education in Korea. From here I complete 1-year language study and then transferred to KyungSung University in Busan. Finishing my degree in Global business; business administration.

However, I've always missed horse riding and the whole equine industry. Now in my final year at university, I have set my goal of hopefully working within the horse industry in Korea whether that be at a private institution to even horse racing.
